Over the next few months, Gardant is slated to open four new affordable assisted living communities.
All of the communities will be located in Indiana. Together, they will house nearly 500 private apartments for older adults who need some help to maintain their independence.
The communities will offer a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home. They will combine the opportunity for older adults to live in a residential apartment-home environment with the availability of personal assistance and support services. They are especially designed to serve low-income seniors.
Studio and one-bedroom floor plans will be available, with each apartment featuring a kitchenette; spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars; individually controlled heating and air conditioning; and emergency alert system. Residents will be able to furnish and decorate their apartment to their taste.
Three meals a day plus snacks, housekeeping and personal and flat linen laundry will be among the support services that are available.
Certified nurses aides and qualified medication aides will be on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide residents with personal assistance and help with medications.
Evergreen Village of Fort Wayne
Evergreen Village of Fort Wayne is designed to serve older adults in Allen County and surrounding area. Located west of I-69 on the far north side of the City of Fort Wayne, the three-story community will feature 125 apartments.
Gardant has managed the Evergreen Village affordable assisted living in Bloomington, Indiana since the community opened for occupancy in June 2018. For more information on the community in Fort Wayne, click here.
Vivera Senior Living of Columbus
Vivera Senior Living of Columbus is being built in the City of Columbus, Indiana, which is located along I-65, south of Indianapolis. The four-story building is being built on property on the southwest corner of State and Pence in the City and will feature 114 apartments. For more information, click here.
Hellenic Senior Living of Mishawaka
Hellenic Senior Living of Mishawaka will serve older adults in the South Bend area. The community is being constructed on property near Logan Street and Dragoon Trail and will feature 136 apartments. For more information, click here.

Heritage Woods of Newburgh
Heritage Woods of Newburgh is under construction on property located in what has become known as the Wellness Trail in Warrick County, Indiana. Warrick County is located in southern Indiana, east of Evansville. The community will feature 120 apartments. For more information, click here.
