As SVP of Accounting, Selena provides leadership and oversight in all areas of accounting, including audit, compliance, budgeting, and forecasting for the portfolio of Gardant managed communities.  Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in business management from Purdue University and over 30 years of experience, Selena has developed a solid foundation in financial principles, which she leverages to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all financial matters. Her interpersonal skills enable her to promote effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders, fostering an environment of open communication and shared goals.

Selena is dedicated to continual process improvements and implementing streamlined accounting procedures.  These initiatives will optimize workflows, maintain controls, and increase efficiencies.  Moreover, Selena firmly believes in the potential of empowering others, emphasizing coaching, and mentoring as essential tools for success.
