  1. My mother reached 68 years old last month. I am planning to send her to an assisted living community because of my heavy workload, making me have lesser and lesser time to take care of her. Does the Heritage Woods of Chicago offer interactive activities for older people? My mother agreed to be in an assisted living community, but she wanted a place where she would not get bored and instead have an enjoyable community.

I called Heritage Woods this week for potential resident information to be sent to the son of an close elderly friend. The son lives in the same neighborhood that HW is located. I spoke to Thomas and he could not have been more kind and helpful on the phone. I certainly hope my dear friend’s son schedules a visit and tour of HW for his mother soon! Mary Z. Walker
