An Affordable Community

Lacey Creek of downers grove is an affordable assisted lifestyle community in dupage County

Our community, which opened in the fall of 2016, serves older adults of all incomes who need some help to maintain their independence. The three-story building is 108,000 square feet and houses 120 private studio and one-bedroom apartments.

Local officials have praised the community, saying it is a much-needed solution for a village that had a growing number of seniors and no housing options for them. Older adults and their families agreed, and the community was fully occupied within 10 months of opening.

Lacey Creek is the most sought-after supportive living community in the area, and apartments are renting quickly. Call 630-964-7720 today to make Lacey Creek your new home.

Touching Lives

Linda’s Story:
Loving Lacey Creek
First, get yourself a cup of coffee, this is a LONG letter.

No worries, ALL GOOD! I just would rather you relax & ‘take in’ my words, as you read this instead of ‘glossing over’. My name is Linda M. I am a sixty six (looks better in words 🙂 ) year old retired woman who has had WELL OVER 30 years of visiting nursing care & assisted living facilities. I have been involved in my church’s senior visiting programs that have taken me to at least a dozen of the surrounding facilities over this time. I put the number of years as to show that I have seen – and sadly NOT seen – changes over time to help you KNOW, my experience & somewhat knowledge of these types of facilities.

Lucille’s Story:
Attitude of Gratitude
Lucille P. moved into Lacey Creek in February of 2020.

She did not know anyone when she moved in and did not have a lot time to adjust before our community was shut down due to COVID-19. Her opportunity to meet people and become involved at Lacey Creek was cut short. Lucille ended up being confined to her room for the unforeseeable future.

Doris’ Story:
Independent and Worry-free, She Found Home Sweet Home
Doris was living with her son and his family, and she felt like she was underfoot.

She didn’t drive anymore, so she couldn’t help with dropping the kids off at school, and wasn’t keeping up with housework and meal prep like she used to. When her granddaughter pointed out construction beginning on Lacey Creek, Doris began thinking about moving.
