The residents at John Evans have been working to help brighten Christmas for children overseas.
We enjoy helping others, and it shows through the smiles on our resident’s faces.
Each year, the staff and residents fill shoeboxes for children in need. John Evans residents enjoy assisting with the project and feel they are helping others the best they can this time of year.
“We try to instill how fortunate we are here and that others aren’t so fortunate,” said John Evans Marketing Director Laurie Hill. “The holidays can be difficult for our residents, and by helping others, they are able to get back in the Christmas spirit.”
Throughout the year, we accept donations for this project. Items such as toothbrushes, small dolls, balls, combs, brushes, card games and more can be left at the front desk with a note telling us they are for Operation Christmas Child.
