These past couple of months have been difficult for both staff and residents. Whoever would of thought that we would be going through such a crisis with our seniors. Although this time of uncertainty has us a little gloomy, we have so much to be thankful for.
Our families have stepped up and delivered needs to their family members as they arise, taking the burden off staff, to do their weekly shopping.
The donations for bingo and other games has been wonderful. We cannot thank everyone enough for their generosity.
We have also been pampered with cookies, snacks, meal delivery and even gift cards for the staff. Your thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed, and we cannot thank you enough for helping us during this difficult time.
Our latest excitement came from the Tazewell County Fairy Sprinklers! They donated potted plants for all our ladies here at John Evans. How thoughtful and caring of you! We love the flowers.
If you would like to donate to our resident’s activities you may reach out to Beth Squires, RSC at 309-477-8806.
