What a wonderful month awaits at Heritage Woods of Yorkville!
February will be filled with sweet treats, memories, and of course, love.
One of our couples, Bruce and Sally Baum, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary! Although they married in February, it was 70 degrees on their wedding day. They met each other when Sally was a car-hop at Harry’s Drive-In, and at just 18 and 16 years old, they set out to build their lives together.
Bruce worked hard as a machinist, and for Sears and Dreyer Clinic. Sally worked hard creating a home and raising their four beautiful daughters. Those daughters grew up, married and the Baums now have seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
We are so delighted that they choose to share their lives with us and are such an important part of our community!
Speaking of love, we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with sweet treats and a walk down memory lane with a live performance by Elvis and Friends. The public is invited to join us for what is sure to be a rockin’ fun time!
Our kitchen will be preparing a delicious prime rib dinner, exclusively for our residents to celebrate the romantic day.
Later in the month, on the 27th, we again invite the community to join us for Chocolate Bingo. Decadent chocolate treats, prizes and fun are on the menu.
Please RSVP for Elvis and Friends or Chocolate Bingo by calling 630-882-6502. We would LOVE to have you join us!
