At the end of May, Heritage Woods of Minooka supported Red Nose Day to help end childhood poverty.

Residents and staff adorned red noses throughout the day to support the cause.

Dane Freund, our resident services coordinator, partnered with a local Minooka community resident who was able to produce shirts for staff to buy and wear for Red Nose Day with proceeds going toward the cause.

Many of our residents here at Heritage Woods reminisce about the old the days when their Mom and Dad may not have had enough money for everyday items and many went without because of hard times. They look back and are thankful for the support they had, which is why they wanted to pay it forward for children who are living in poverty by supporting Red Nose Day!
