We are staying strong here at Heritage Woods of Dwight! We want to extend our greatest gratitude to all the family members, community members, staff members and residents for all they have done during these difficult times. We would like to thank the greater community for providing meals, homemade masks and goodies for our staff to enjoy. We would like to thank the families that have ordered meals for our staff and who sent in cards filled with kind words. We would like to thank our residents and families for understanding and cooperating with our policies and procedures that have been implemented to keep our building safe. The Livingston County Health Department has done a phenomenal job sending us PPE equipment and keeping in contact with us to help provide what we need.
This community is thriving and doing so well, and I want to give a special shout out to our staff who come to work every day, wearing their masks and ready to help our residents no matter what with the love, compassion and dignity that our residents deserve. We have amazing staff who truly care about everyone here just as though they are their own family. We are so proud of the team that we have here!
Keep you heads up and stay strong. Every day, we are a day closer to getting through this, and we are so proud that our community is doing so well.
Again, we cannot thank everyone enough!
Dear Sharon, Denise, and all Heritage Woods Staff,
I wish I knew every single one of you, to personally thank you for all that you are doing to keep all the residents safe, comforted, and loved!
As Clarence and Bertie Simantel’s daughter from Indianapolis, I am especially grateful for hearing my Mom’s (and Dad’s for a bit), voice over the phone…mostly cheerful and positive!
Even though my parents are very resilient, they would not be able to lift our days without you lifting theirs!
So THANK YOU from all of us! Please let us know if ever there is a need that we can help with. You are an extension of our family, since you are our hands and feet to them during this time.
We are keeping you all in our prayers for your own health and safety, and also for your families.
Hugs from 190 miles East,
Betty (Simantel)and Frank Crossland
Thank you so much for your kind words.
