Senior yoga is returning to Heritage Woods of Centralia this September.

Heritage Woods has hosted a senior yoga class for the past five years. This class is free and open to the public as well as the residents of Heritage Woods.

The group meets from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Wednesday and is taught by licensed yoga instructor Lindsey Koch.

To accommodate varying skill levels and abilities, this is a seated yoga session. All movements can be done without standing.

Senior yoga offers a wide array of health benefits.  Seniors, who often struggle with pain, joint stress, imbalance, osteoarthritis and other physical limitations can benefit from incorporating a yoga practice into their daily routine.
