Dear Residents, Loved Ones, and Employees,

Our Community was recently notified of 2 staff members  that has tested positive for COVID-19 on 1/19/2022. Because of HIPAA privacy and confidentiality regulations, we cannot release any information that would identify the residents in this case.

At this time, no other staff or residents have tested positive or are showing symptoms.  Further follow up testing of all staff and residents is scheduled for 1/25/2022 per public health guidelines.  When a new case of COVID-19 is identified in a resident or employee (restricted to employees who worked within 48 hours of onset of symptoms/testing positive), indoor and outdoor visits (except compassionate care and end-of-life visits, and representatives of the protection and advocacy systems) pause until the first round of community-wide testing is completed.    We will continue to follow the direction of local and state health officials, as well as CDC guidance.

If we suspect or confirm that any resident in our Community may have experienced a qualifying exposure, the resident (and their representative, per resident wishes) will be notified.  Moreover, any individuals suspected or confirmed to have a qualifying exposure will be asked to quarantine for 14 days.

Lastly, we are helping residents keep in touch with loved ones virtually.  If we can assist you in connecting with a loved one, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the front desk of the Community.

As always, we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.  Our top priority is the health, safety, and wellbeing of all residents, loved ones, and employees of our Community.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Michelle Slack Administrator
