Heritage Woods Couple Celebrates 75th Anniversary

Carmen and Mary Siciliano have a love story for the ages. They celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary at Heritage Woods of Batavia earlier this month and shared their secrets to a successful marriage: love, laughter and a daily kiss. Their story was featured in the Daily Herald and on WGN Morning News.

We hope you are staying nice and warm as you read our latest newsletter.  Our CEO’s article about slowing down during the holidays to take stock of our lives and what is most important to us as we welcome in the new year is most enlightening. Also, the president’s article highlighting resident testimonials is inspiring as well. The list of tips to manage Seasonal Affective Disorder on Page 3 can help lift one’s mood, and the candy cane fudge recipe on that page is too yummy to pass up. Here at Heritage Woods, we have had a busy month as described on Pages 4 and 6, and we look forward to seeing everyone at our upcoming Tree Lighting & Santa visit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4.
