The Deer Path Resident Council is a very active group in our community.
In a young community like ours where resident age ranges from 22 to 64+ years old, it has to be. Our residents have very active lives and have many needs. Their council advocates for higher learning, civic duties and healthy quality of living on top of the typical resident committee duties.
The council works hard to meets resident needs.
From training on personal safety to inviting political speakers to inform residents prior to elections, organizing volunteers to help residents register to vote, and helping our community organize entertainment events are just a few of the ways our Resident Council is making a difference at Deer Path.
Recently, when our treadmill stopped working, it was our council that advocated for its replacement to help residents maintain their independence.
The Deer Path Resident Council meets on the second Wednesday of every month. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
