More than 40 communities operated by Gardant Management Solutions have been honored as part of the National Center for Assisted Living’s (NCAL) Quality Initiative Recognition Program.
This national program is designed to recognize assisted living communities that have shown a commitment to quality and improving the lives of the residents they serve.
“The long term and post-acute care profession has been at the forefront of quality improvement efforts, and the results speak for themselves,” said Mark Parkinson, President and CEO of AHCA/NCAL. “It’s obvious that providers have put effort into quality improvement this past year, and I’m confident we’ll continue to make progress in the years to come.”
To be recognized, communities attained one or more of the organization’s four quality goals: staff stability, excellent customer satisfaction, low hospital readmissions and limited use of off-label antipsychotics.

Communities will be recognized March 10 at the 2020 AHCA/NCAL Quality Summit in Grapevine, Texas.
NCAL is the assisted living voice of the American Health Care Association (AHCA). The organization is dedicated to serving the needs of the assisted living community through national advocacy, education, networking, professional development and quality initiatives.
