Stay up to date with the latest at Cambridge House
Back to school week was a blast and was very successful in regard to our back-to-school fundraising event. The most well attended activity was the graduation party where we served root beer floats and snapped pictures of the residents in their mortar boards and we laughed and shared stories of our school times.
Jean S. won our first ever Cambridge House of Swansea spelling bee and it was a fun filled afternoon of quick thinking and quick wit as the residents each tried to out spell each other. Jean ended up winning the lighting round and took home the certificate and a trophy. Jean was most excited that the certificate was signed by our administrator, and she showed it off to everyone on the way back upstairs!!
Our residents wanted to celebrate nurse’s week by making a handmade chocolate bouquet for the director of nursing and the staff nurse. Each bouquet turned out so cute and the residents were so excited to give them to the nursing staff and tell each of them how appreciative we are of both of them.
