Holiday Pie Sale Returns with a Twist to Help School Choir

The Holiday Pie Sale returned to Bowman Estates, and this year, we donated nearly $500 in proceeds to the North Ridge Middle School Show Choirs. The group will use the money to help for their audition trip to the Grand Ole Opry this spring

This year saw the return of the Holiday Pie Sale that Bowman Estates was once was known for, but this time, it has a new twist.

“We wanted a way to help support one of the many community groups that could use a little extra help,” said Melissa Taylor, Director of Marketing for Bowman Estates.

North Ridge Middle School Show Choirs was chosen as this year’s pie sale partner. They will use the nearly $500 they received to help with their trip to compete in Show Choir Nationals at the Grand Ole Opry in the spring.

To help encourage the sale, Bowman Estates even arranged to have a Holiday VIP make the deliveries to groups who purchased 5 or more pies.

We would like to give a special thank you to Santa (Administrator Terry LaBounty) being such a great sport.

North Ridge Middle School Choir Director Jennifer Woodrow said she was glad to hear her group had been selected to receive the donation and enjoyed Santa stopping by for his last stop on delivery day.

“We are grateful for the opportunity that Bowman Estates gave us,” she said. “Raising funds for our show choirs is a huge task, and we are glad to have a partner like the folks at Bowman Estates.”

The middle school choir students are just one of the many wonderful groups who visit our building throughout the year, and we are so glad to be able to support a wonderful community program.
