Community Donates Easter Baskets to Local Shelters

Bowman Estates residents made 20 Easter baskets that were donated to local shelters. The project is just one way that our community is giving back to others.

Once again, the residents at Bowman Estates have shown how giving their hearts are!

Last month, they created over 20 adorable Easter-themed baskets that were donated to the women’s and children shelter in the area.

“We are thankful to have so many creative folks who really enjoy watching a project come together,” said Melissa Taylor, Director of Marketing at Bowman Estates.

Knowing that they could provide a happy holiday memory for a child mad all the time and effort well worth it for residents.

The staff at the shelters told us that the children were so excited to get the baskets.

Planning is already underway to choose future projects to help other people in the Danville area.

What a great reminder that even as you age and find yourself needing assistance, there are still so many ways to contribute and help others!
