With the end of summer quickly approaching and a return to school at hand for kids across the region, Belvedere Senior Housing decided to throw one last summer bash with residents.
Our Family Carnival featured games, prizes, face painting and more.
Carnival attendees enjoyed summer classics, including hot dogs, sno-cones and cotton candy as they played games and activities.
Duck pond, ring toss, and a massive bounce house all kept the kids excited as parents and grandparents looked on. The most ambitious and popular activity was the dunk tank built by staff and resident volunteers. Constructed of PVC pipes, hoses, and a lot of clever engineering, the homemade dunk tank drenched anyone brave enough to get under a bucketful of water.
The event was full of fun, games, and smiling faces and brought family to visit their loved ones.
