Rick Banas, of Gardant Management Solutions, will be speaking on the Illinois Supportive Living Program at the 27th Annual Kane County Legislative Forum on Aging and Disability Issues.
The forum will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14 at the Pottawatomie Community Center in St. Charles, Illinois.
Rick, who serves as Vice President of Development and Positioning for Gardant, will be talking about why the Supportive Living Program is a wonderful model for affordable assisted living and how supportive living communities are a great alternative to nursing homes or struggling alone at home. He also will discuss how home and community-based programs and services such as supportive living save the state and taxpayers money.
The forum is being sponsored by the Elgin Senior Provider Network, the Area Agency on Aging and Kane County Senior Resources.
