As Portfolio Asset Manager, Matt is responsible for the financial analyses, compliance and due diligence of the Gardant portfolio of senior living, assisted living and memory care communities and for acquisitions, new developments and expansions. His responsibilities include investor relations and structuring joint ventures and new development opportunities.

Matt brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in real estate development, management and investment; taxation; accounting; and financial planning. His experience includes managing real estate investment funds; joint venture workouts; equity syndication; managing real estate investments for a private REIT; and serving in the controllership role for real estate development, construction and property management.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Illinois in Champaign.
