Bebe created and was responsible for Gardant’s Tax Credit Compliance Department since 2003.
The Department oversees asset management and compliance requirements for a portfolio of senior living and assisted living communities valued at more than $700 million that have been funded with tax credits, using a variety of low-income housing tax credit programs. As of 2023 manage approx. $700 million of tax credits for LIHTC over 50 communities.
Bebe brought more than 20 years of experience to the position, along with her expertise in organizational management and analytics, and her strong focus on making sure things are done right.
A Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). Her staff of 13 Compliance Managers/Clerks holds multiple Tax Credit certificates as well as HUD COS credentials. She was experienced with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Bonds, HOME Funds, TARP and USDA Guaranteed 538 program funding vehicles.
Bebe had a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Biola University in La Mirada, California, and a Master of Arts in Psychology and doctoral work from Azusa Pacific University. She also completed course work in neuropsychology and geriatrics at California State University.
