Responsible for the oversight and training of senior housing community business office staff in Accounts Receivable related functions. Coordinates and performs the accounts receivable portion of financial statement preparation using GAAP and the accrual basis of accounting, analysis, and Medicaid revenue calculations. Research and respond to accounts receivable information inquiries made by owners, lenders, auditors, regulatory agencies and third parties. Monitor and track all MMMAI/ICP/Medicaid/
Private Pay balances within portfolio aging. Special projects as assigned. Frequent travel to communities is required.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Additional requirements: professional behavior, excellent organizational skills, communication skills both verbal and written, excellent computer skills with current Microsoft Office products, and accounting software.
