A performance by Cambridge House of Maryville resident Flora Morgan has been selected as one of the “Top Ten” in the 2012 SLFs Got Talent contest. The contest is being hosted by the Affordable Assisted Living Coalition (AALC). The organization represents affordable assisted living communities such as Cambridge House of Maryville that operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program. Ms. Morgan’s vocal rendition of “God Bless The USA” was selected by a panel of judges as one of the “Top Ten” from entries of performances by residents submitted by more than 60 communities located throughout the State. A panel of judges narrowed the field down to 25 and then a popular vote helped to determine the "Top Ten". As one of the "Top Ten", Ms. Morgan will have the opportunity to perform live in the Talent Show Finals on April 30 at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel and Conference Center in Springfield, Illinois. The Supportive Living Talent Show "Top Ten" performances are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. You can watch a live stream of the performances on your computer by going to http://livestre.am/1nENP.
