Cambridge House Honored for Being Deficiency-Free

Cambridge House of Maryville was honored at the 2011 BMA Annual Awards Ceremony this past Friday for receiving a deficiency-free survey from the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS).BMA Management, Ltd., has managed Cambridge House of Maryville since the affordable assisted living community opened for occupancy in June 2006.HFS is responsible for regulating communities such as Cambridge House that operate through the State of Illinois' Supportive Living program. The program provides Cambridge House with the ability to serve adults 65 and older of all incomes who need some help to maintain their independence, including those on Medicaid.In the annual survey process, representatives from HFS visited Cambridge House of Maryville to conduct a detailed review of all aspects of the community's operations, including the physical plant, nursing and ancillary services, maintenance, food service, and disaster preparedness. The survey process also included interviews with residents.Cambridge House of Maryville is one of three Cambridge House affordable assisted living communities in the Metro East area of St. Louis. Cambridge House communities also are located in O'Fallon, Illinois, and Swansea, Illinois.
