Communities Advance to 2016 Wii Bowling Playoffs

wiibowlingaalcWii Bowling teams from 18 Gardant communities will advance to the 32-team playoffs of the 2016 Affordable Assisted Living Coalition tournament.

This year’s playoff teams are:

Cambridge House of O’Fallon – Pins and Needles
Deer Path of Huntley – Deer Path Bowling Bucks
Eagle Ridge of Decatur – Dolls with Balls
Grand Prairie of Macomb – Grand Prairie Pin Splitters
Heritage Woods of Batavia – Foxy Ladies
Heritage Woods of Batavia – The Fabulous 5
Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook – Bowling Brooks
Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook – Bowling Brooks Too
Heritage Woods of Charleston – Heritage Woodsmen
Heritage Woods of Charleston – The Goofygals
Heritage Woods of DeKalb – The Lucky Ones
Heritage Woods of Manteno – Manteno Oddballs
Heritage Woods of McHenry – Queen and Kingpins
Heritage Woods of Mt. Vernon – Golden Girls
Heritage Woods of Plainfield – Plainfield Twisters
Heritage Woods of Sterling – Sterling Strikers
Prairie Living at Chautauqua – Prairie Pin Heads
Prairie Winds of Urbana – Mighty Bowlers

Keep Moving LogoThe following bowlers from Gardant communities were recognized for rolling perfect 300 scores during the regular season:

Eagle Ridge of Decatur – Goldie Kitchens
Heritage Woods of Batavia – Jim Gent, Shirley Herman
Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook – Vonnie Heagy, Mike Malina, Jeanne Pridmore
Heritage Woods of Charleston – Burleigh Hocking, John Honn, Bill Pankey
Heritage Woods of Dekalb – Milly Heiman

The tournament, which will take place over the next three weeks, includes competition among the best teams from affordable assisted living communities across the state. The top teams will advance to the Final Four in Springfield.

Gardant Wii Bowling Teams

Last year, 18 Gardant communities advanced to the 32-team playoffs, including three (The Bowling Brooks from Heritage Woods of Bolingbrook, The Pin Heads from Prairie Living at Chautauqua and The Heritage Woodsmen from Heritage Woods of Charleston) that rounded out the Final Four.
